rar pw

i have a question about a rar file
there's a pw on it
and i didn't think about it to write it somwhere
so i can't get in the files
how can i get this pw?

Ask other people about the file.  Writing efficient programs to extract the password on even a simple archive is tough these days.  You can try brute force method, but you could be there all day.

but when i use dict attack, it says the pw is 987
