Help with PC

Name: Anonymous 2010-06-17 15:16

When I turn on my PC it works for 1 sec, then shuts down, after 1 sec it starts by itself again, shuts down after a second and so on. I tried clearing CMOS, removing all parts but CPU, it's always the same! Help

-Try a friend's or a spare PSU.
-If you have multiple RAM chips, try using each one on its own.

Hello again

If I unplug CPU power cables then the mainboard "works", I mean it doesn't shutdown. So is it bad CPU??

its a bad CPU and it needs to be scolded and punished for its wicked ways.

Go to your bios (Normally F2 at startup) and turn off the setting that turns the computer back on after power shortage, (lightening, blow a fuse, generator can't support 9 computers, etc...)

you have to hit it until it learns that if it does not wish to be hit, it will cooperate.

Don't change these.
