I think my Laptop is overheating

It's making a high pitched noise and there's a lot of heat coming from the fan area. Advice?

look online for a disassembly guide, take it apart following the guide and additionally take a couple of sheets of paper and make a sketch of where the screws go and put the screws on the sketch as you remove them from the laptop, all you need is to get to the fan area, no need to take the WHOLE thing apart if you dont have to, take a small clean brush and clean the fan and heat sink.
taking a laptop apart is scary at first, but once you get used to it, its a piece of cake.
