downloading - torrents

I've got a problem with downloading stuff off torrents. This started to bother me about 3 days ago. Whenever I try to download something, it will go fine for about 5 minutes and after this period of time the transfer goes to 0. The internet stops to work completely and to make it work again I have to reboot the computer. I have reformatted the hdd few weeks ago. I think it's worth mentioning that when I download something off rapidshare or any other file sharing site - everything is fine.

mmm... change ports in the torrent program, limit the bandwith the torrent program uses and make sure the port is open in the router (if you have a router)
