Procesor gone, is motherboard bad.

I'm kinda in the dark here, I have a computer without a processor and I want to know if the motherboard is bad or not so I know if it's worth putting money into. There are a shitload of parts missing( Cpu/system fans, hard drive, power button, and the processor)

If someone could tell me what parts must be there to power up the motherboard and see if what error codes it gives me, it would be much appreciated, I already ran several google searches but I wasn't able to find anything helpful
