Not sure if this the right forum to ask advice for a computer build but this is what I have so far

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021
HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136284
Monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254023
GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130433
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341019
Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145184
Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727
Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131402

I think I like everything so far except I'm not quite sure about what makes one motherboard better than the next. This will be the 2nd computer I've ever built so I know how everything fits together. Any and all criticism/comments/advice is appreciated.

Save money buy getting a cheaper case. With the money buy an optical drive and/or an aftermarket CPU heatsink.

Also, have you checked out the Intel side of things? Core i5-750 is nice as well (and should be within your price range).

Don't change these.
