So exactly 30 days ago I installed a copy of XP. I tried a bunch of keygens and cracks and things and it took ages to find one that actually worked... except it didn't, and now I'm locked out of my system. What do I do?
I'm willing to just buy a copy of XP, but only if I can use the code on my current installation. I really don't want to have to reinstall it.

I've had this problem before. Here's how I fixed it, restart your computer and before the windows logo comes up tap f8 untill you see a screen prompting you to go to safe mode. Go into safe mode and you can bypass all the activation bullshit. Download this rar and extract it http://members.shaw.ca/asteao/WPA.rar there will be a file called 'ANTIWPA3.CMD' run it in safe mode and follow the instructions on screen and everything should be working again.

Well it wouldn't let me log in using safe mode because I can't activate Windows in safe mode, apparantly. I restarted and just went through the activation screen and it activated! Very unexpected, but now it just works.
Click on the register online bullshit, eventualy a link opens up and you click it and bam you have IE open, then press F1 to open help then you can browse your puter and open explorer.exe for desktop and so on and so forth. The key is to get IE open, or anything internet. It may give you a little bit of help finding and install cracks.
