Dual Monitors

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-22 7:48

Hey /comp/

I have upgraded to dual monitors, but I have some problems with the configuration. That is why I come to you.

Is iy possible to have the monitors work independently of eachother?

in example;

I have both monitors connected to the same, and only, graphics card and I am able to play a game on one monitor, and surf the internet, or do anything I like on the other screen, without having to alt+tab or in any way exit the current game ?

Thanks ;)

You poor, misguided soul . . .  you will find no help here -- it's clear you've stumbled across this website by accident.

Leave!  Leave while you still can, leave while you still have your soul!  You'll find nothing but torment and horror within the confines of 4chan.

These are the most truthful, kind and helpful words you'll ever see here.  Good luck.

ITT: people unclear on the concepts involved. People that most likely should never have been allowed any where near a computer in the first place.

It doesnt make a difference how many monitors you're running, most operating systems don't allow two different windows to remain in the forefront even when the other is clicked.

-windowed -full command line parameters may work for a few of your games, works for WoW allowing you to slide over to Firefox and get yo quest halps.

Don't change these.
