XP x32 on more than 4GB RAM

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-04 5:55

If I was to run xp 32 bit with 2x1GB and 2x2GB RAM, what would happen? I'm hoping it will just run at the best speed it can get, but don't want to take the risk.

32 bit operating systems only accept 4 gb of ram maximum. If you want to run the 6gb setup, you need a x64 os. Otherwise it will be a waste of hardware. Unless you want to cook something on the non functioning hardware. So Here is what you do, set up the machine, install x32 xp, clamp on a copper plate onto the ram. Then use the useless hardware's heat to cook eggs and sausage pattys on the copper plate.

Trust me you will never eat better sausage and eggs

Don't change these.
