While I'm currently at a student apartment complex that does indeed block the usual suspects (bittorrent, IRC), recently some legit things have been getting blocked such as hotmail.com and other websites (gives connection timeout), google earth ( certain servers?), and now avg won't update (it's not spyware on my machine, two different ones cannot update). All of these work through tor. What's the deal?
