VPN Client configuration in OSX

can you configure the vpn client in osx using the command line, without using applescript ui?

i've been reading about configuring vpnd but apparently as a vpn server, i don't need this.

i've found something about a cisco vpn client you can download

but does it work for a standard microsoft windows server vpn?

my guess is yes, but it doesn't hurt asking because i can't try it today
