transfering files

i just got a new laptop and am looking to transfer my 7gigs of music from my desktop over. how would i go about doing this without blank discs or flash drives?

copy dat floppy

network shared drive

You might have to put all your music in one archive, since the program looks to be able to only transfer one file at a time.

or

www.guildftpd.com for a freeware ftp server and you will also need a ftp client (try fireFTP if you use firefox).

BELKIN PC-PC USB connect cable. Pick one up at a shop and learn the fine art of file transfer.

Hold down T while booting the laptop to enable Target Disk Mode, that way it acts as a firewire hard drive.
