Hello /comp/. Never knew this board existed.
Question regarding Validating SP3.
I put a fresh install of Windows XP Pro N. SP3 on my computer and was hoping to use that Windows XP Permanent Validation.zip (can be found on TPB). I used it on my install of Windows XP Pro SP2 successfully, but for some reason (I assume PID of this Windows Install Disc) it won't allow me to change my windows key to a VL key and allow validation.
So I guess my question is.... what is the best method of making Windows Pro Sp3 genuine or really...just able to download updates and have no nagging activation/validation problems?
