ftp not detecting my external ip

Name: Anonymous 2009-01-04 11:12

I am connecting to the internet through a friend's 2nd network card, my ftp (G6 bulletproof, older version) will only detect and display my 192.168.0.1 ip.
How can I get my ftp proggie to understand that I want it to use my external ip? :p

In return for help, invites to any major torrent site

ftp sucks
install ssh and use scp/winscp like a real man

Format, reinstall.

1.  Turn on passive mode (enter your external ip)
2.  Forward the ports your ftp uses to your address on the network (192.168.0.1)

I know FlashFXP can do a 'bind IP to socket' so you can manually tell it to use FTP on port 21 on 192.168.0.1. At least I think that's how it works...

Don't change these.
