Hi I need help installing Redhat. Also would I be able to run Redhat off of my second hard drive w/o a partitioner? And how do I install LILO?

You don't. Get PC-BSD instead.

Redhat? Last version of Redhat was 9 in 2003? 04? I think what you're looking for is Fedora (http://fedoraproject.org/) which is based off of Redhat.

I might have to agree with this man though, if you're just starting out PC-BSD is probably better for you if you're a beginner. If you still wanna try out linux and avoid anything BSD try Ubuntu (http://www.ubuntu.com/)

Hope this helps. Good luck.

PC-BSD is the Ubanto of BSDs. Except that it uses KDE by default, so it's actually worse.

Best linux is madriva, it uses rpm, not yum.

Don't change these.
