Fffffffffffuck. So I'm sure someone other than me goes to a University that the requires the downloading and installing of CCAA in order to make sure your computer is "clean." This is so you can actually get access to the ResNet via Ethernet. (the only way to play games and the like). Problem is, after installing it it gives me an error when it tries to start up, then shuts down. I can't access the network without this, and the IT department is only open 10 - 5 Monday through Friday, and I'm not sure if they could help me. I think it's a problem with my permissions on my computer (I run Vista), though I've given my own account every permission possible and took ownership of everything on the hard drive (rather than the "TrustedInstaller" account). I figure it has something to do with Vista's "Windows Resource Protection," but I don't know how to override the set up permissions to allow this program access to edit my registry.
Anyone have any experience with this or know what I can do?
