Adobe Acrobat Reader - Restrictions

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-18 18:23

Hello,

I have a .pdf document that I am viewing in Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 8.1.2) that has large, high resolution images which I desire to print out. However, there is text on them which I cannot edit or remove, due to the security restrictions placed on the file. (These can be found in Document > Security > Show Security properties, where "Document Assembly" and "Commenting" are not allowed) I want to remove the text, however, I have not found a way to get around the security. I have searched for a program that will unlock it, and have tried a few, but none work. Most of them are outdated by at least a year. Does anyone know a working way to get around the locks? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Doesn't the elcomsoft adobe password cracker work?  bonus that the soft is regularly posted on the Usenets.

Print to Postscript file, then edit out the text (if you can find it).

Don't change these.
