Okay, so whenever I try to play 720p movies on my pc, it gets out of sync real fast. It's mkv files @ 4.x gb each.
Pc specs:
2.8 GHz Pentium D
2 GB DDR2 RAM
Windows Vista Ultimate
ATI Radeon 1650 PRO graphics card
Is my PC really the problem?

What movie player are you using? I've played 720p movies on a computer with similar specs (3.0GHz Pentium D, but only 1GB DDR1 RAM) with no problems in MPC and VLC.

I use MPC. Also tried Windows Media player. Both have the same ass problem. My friend has the exact same problem too. I doubt it's the codec. We're both using different packs of codecs. I use CCCP and he uses something else.
Smaller 720p files work fine (like 1-2gb ones) but larger 4gb+ seems to have a bigger chance of going out of sync.
