Video editing software

i need a video editing application that easy to use and isn't a resource hog.

i've tried various applications, all of them have failed. i've tried Ulead, Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premire Pro, Cyberlink PowerDirector, and Magix Movie Edit Pro. all of them freeze and die on me whenever i try to import a video to edit. the only exception to this is that cyberlink powerdirector seems to do fine when i upload my .mod files from my JVC camcorder to convert to avi but as soon as the avi is done and i try to import THAT file the program shuts down on me.

is there anything out there that's nice and simple to use that isn't a system hog, but maybe something a bit more intuitive than Vdub for a noob like me?

this is what i'm running, maybe my system is too weak or my cpu isn't made for this kinda stuff?

windows XP SP2, AMD dual core 3800+ 64 x2 (939 socket), and 2 gigs of 2.01 Ghz RAM.

... i'm going to assume that 'wwww.opera.com' is like saying 'delete your system32 folder' when asking for tech help...

i'd still like a little assistance in this :/

Ok I think I can help you out with your little problem.
First of all, its only 'www.opera.com' there are only 3 w's just like any other site. Yes, it is similar to saying delete your system32 folder when someone asks for help, both are quite old memes, but nonetheless fun to use on unsuspecting victims.
That should be about all you need to know, so report back and tell us if this helped.

Yeah it sounds like you need to find yourself a good video editing program that is easy to use. You should probably start with google. Good luck

>>11 is correct.

I'd just like to add that the program you're looking for should probably be one that isn't a system hog.

Yeah, it should be one that does what it is supposed to do

Don't change these.
