Good audio/video converter for windows

What's a good, free, easy to use conversion application? I need one that can process FLVs into at least an MPEG or WMV. I like one that can convert a number of files into a number of other files.

I used to use "Super". It was a GREAT, free program. I used it for all my video/audio conversions. But now, since they updated it, it won't convert a single file, and I can't figure out why. I've been using some cheap batch FLV converter once posted here, but it seems to only convert 1/5 of every FLV file, and keeps getting errors on the rest.

I have about 400 FLV files, mostly porn off of youtubes and pornotubes, that I can't find a converter to actually convert. Google and download.com failed me. I also use the program to convert audio files I use for mix CDs in my car.

In your experience, are there any good reliable ones that I might be able to use?

Also, same thread, basically, as was in /g/. Except /g/ is in the process of flaming it, I havn't gotten a single application name.

If you want a GUI, avidemux might be worth a try. I don't know if it can do batch conversions however.

For batch conversions you can use ffmpeg or or mencoder, they both have all the abilities you need. But you will have to read up on their parameters and write the necessary script(s) to convert your 400 files.

Other than that, you do know that you will be losing quality by reencoding those videos? Those *tube* flvs are probably bad enough as it is...

Um, you could use the older version of Super C.

Don't change these.
