I'm getting this issue too. Is there any fix for this sans reverting back to Firefox 3.6?

Name: Anonymous 2011-03-05 21:43

He's probably waiting for final release, guys. Betas can change framework from one release to the next.

Name: Anonymous 2011-03-13 16:35

"TypeError: Components.classes['@4chan.wrathfilledhate.net/menu/manager-object;1'] is undefined "

This is unacceptable.  I can't believe I have to endure this wrath just because I want to use the Firefox 4 beta!!  I'm going to throw myself out my second floor apt window if this isn't fixed asap.

TypeError: Components.classes['@4chan.wrathfilledhate.net/menu/manager-object;1'] is undefined

Same problem.

I'm sure it'll be a quick fix for the kind folks who made this extension.

I'll just do it the old fashion way in the mean time.

I've had the convenience of the 4chan extension for too long. I don't know if I can go back the archaic ways of yesteryear.

Name: Anonymous 2011-03-19 15:47

I'm getting an error myself:

[Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80520015 (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED) [nsIFileOutputStream.init]"  nsresult: "0x80520015 (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED)"  location: "JS frame :: file:///C:/Users/Merriman/AppData/Roaming/Moonchild%20Productions/Pale%20Moon/Profiles/r3v3pb8c.default/extensions/%7B9AA46F4F-4DC7-4c06-97AF-5035170633FE%7D/components/4chanCom.js :: anonymous :: line 1092"  data: no]

Getting the same issue. I miss it already.
Is it just cause Firefox changed their extension code or what?

I didn't realize how much I enjoyed the convenience of the 4chan extension until FF4 broke it.=/

Here's hoping for a quick fix...

Thanks, but still getting the following error:

TypeError: chan_managerobject.Boards is null

I can't pick which boards to show/hide in the context menu.

How does it work?

Name: Anonymous 2011-03-25 17:36

Open the file using firefox.

Name: Anonymous 2011-03-25 20:34

TABLE[class="4chan_ext_reply"]
DIV[class="4chan_ext_thread"] > BLOCKQUOTE
DIV[class="4chan_ext_thread"]

In what file does the 4Chan Extension create these?  Better yet, can someone create these tables for me in javascript?  It's literally the only thing I require from the extension.

and what did you change?

Name: Anonymous 2011-03-26 14:02

It doesn't work for me either, I still get the same error.

Name: Anonymous 2011-03-27 8:58

Thanks! Been waiting for this one.

Name: Anonymous 2011-03-27 18:12

DAMN.  cant wait for this to be fixed..

Name: Anonymous 2011-03-27 18:35

Awesome, thanks.  Working well enough for me.  Any chance of getting an icon for it next to the address bar somewhere? So we don't have to unhide menu bar everytime we want to use dropdown menu to go to a different board.

It's not a virus?

Yes, I'm not good at programming, so shut up, this is the BBS, at least we have to stay serious here.

fixed for ff4, no other changes.

http://4chan.wrathfilledhate.net/menu/4chan.v0.4.5.16.xpi

older version of firefox should still use:

Let me be the first to say "thank you very much."

I upgraded to ff4 earlier today, and suddenly realized just how much I use the extension after being without it for only a few hours.
