The TW keeps randomly forgetting the threads it was supposed to be watching. I thought this latest update would fix it but it still keeps forgetting the threads.
I tried to revert back to one of the older versions of the TW but I keep running into "4chan 0.4.3.1 will not be installed because it does not provide secure updates." And changing the "extensions.checkUpdateSecurity" (boolean) value in about:config to false doesn't appear to be working in Firefox 3.5. (Though with a little more googling I should be able to find a way to install it.) I'm just wondering why the latest two versions of the TW keeps forgetting my threads.
How to reproduce the problem? It seems to occur randomly whenever I close Firefox. Again, it's very random. Sometimes it does and other times it doesn't.
Firefox v3.5.5
OS: Vista
zip.4chan.org
Note to self: Never under any circumstances update things unless you need to. Had I stayed with TW v4.3 none of this would have ever happened.

Disregard the second paragraph. Editing "extensions.checkUpdateSecurity" worked, but the 4chan TW v0.4.3.1 wasn't compatible with Firefox 3.5.5.
Does anybody know where I can find the versions between 4.3.1 and 4.5.12? The latest two versions suffer from amnesia.

I've tested the latest version of the 4chan extension for a few days and it looks like it's working.
Whatever you did in the last upgrade is working for my Vi$ta.
I think I understand why the 4chan filter keeps forgetting threads. It has something to do with the thread watcher page: chrome://4chan/content/ThreadWatch.html
If you delete too much while on this page, the thread watcher will randomly decide to forget some of the threads you've watched. At least that's the case, on Vista. Check the code on that page and make sure there's no bugs.

/s/ is the cgi server, not the img server (or rather it was).

I'm guessing Damage is not a moderator (correct me if I'm wrong, please). I've told a couple moderators I do know on the IRC channel. Maybe they'll do something about it. I have to tell you that one of them said that moderating the textboards is more difficult than moderating the imageboards for some reason. So don't expect a drastic change right away. I'll let them know of it again in a day or two if the spam is still up.
Image expansion broken on most if not all sfw boards now.

open it up in a text editor e.g. notepad and email the writer of the script ;ask him if he'd be kind enough to update it. Mind you it wouldnt take a rocket scientist just to substitute the old URLs to the new ones....
It is the latest code, but it isn't working properly under Opera 9.27 and Opera 10, the hide function isn't working and there's always a javascript popup after I post a reply.
I don't see how just changing the "old" url (it is the same *.4chan.org) would fix this.

Am I correct in thinking since the servers were changed to boards.* that fychan stopped working?
