this is what i use

var form = document.evaluate("child::form", document.body, null, 8, null).singleNodeValue

form.addEventListener('DOMNodeInserted', function(e){if(e.target.nodeName=='TABLE') SOME_FUNCTION(e.target.getElementsByClassName('reply')[0])}, true)

I'm thinking of making a script with a bunch of little text hacks, one of which would be time change.

Whats the point of the user data area in the extension under quick reply? The extension doesn't auto add the info for me. Is it suppose to?

Problem: I messed around with about:config and I changed a value to one of the 4chan things.  I don't remember what it was, and I think it was 4chan.ch_frames.  What can I do to remedy this?

By the way, this is the error text that is shown to me:

"[Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED) [nsIPrefBranch.getBoolPref]"  nsresult: "0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED)"  location: "JS frame :: chrome://4chan/content/4chanLib.js :: chan_open :: line 598"  data: no]"

Okay, figured out my problem.  The thing was looking for a boolean, and when I told it to reset, it changed the line to a string.  I had to reinstall Firefox completely to figure this out, but oh well.

seriously what is the point of the User data. does it have a point?

Name: Anonymous 2009-04-23 16:25

Apparently, the add-on doesn't work with the updated Fire Fox...or yet at least.

Damage seems to not have been around lately. His last post was >>184 here, which was over nine months ago. His e-mail address is wrathfilledhate@gmail.com so I guess you can send him an e-mail asking what's up? (I will too.) I hope he didn't give up and abandon the development of the extension, because I find it to be very useful.

Is it possible to customise the boards you see under the 4chan menu? Like editing a file in the application data folder?

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-15 16:10

>>337
It's in the config menu under the menu tab.

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-17 18:42

Thank you for this plugin!

I only see "hide all" or "hide none" not hiding individual boards which I'm looking to do.

Some dude was planning to make another one but I don't know what happened to that.  In any case, the extension is open source if I recall so I guess someone with programming skills could implement some changes.

Alright, take it some place else. Please don't pollute the official 4chan Firefox extension thread with this nonsense. I'm asking you nicely.

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-28 7:30

is it just me, or is the extension lagging like a motherfucker in ff 3.5b4 ?

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-28 15:35

>>350
Does Quick Reply even work for you in the beta? I'm wondering if it's just me.

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-28 16:21

>>351
I think it's been confirmed that quick reply doesn't work anymore. Now answer my question, nigger.

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-28 16:30

>>352
Doesn't really lag for me.

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-01 1:05

Quick reply still works, now shut the fuck up.

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-05 9:45

>>350
Yeah, whenever I open a thread my firefox stops responding for a few seconds. Shit sucks.

Name: anonymous 2009-06-15 12:40

The extension is ftw!

How's 4chan X?  There's no reviews.

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-18 16:05

Quick reply seems to malfunction for me.
I can quick reply, but right after my reply has been posted the font size of the page gets minimized for some odd reason.
