Limited-Rights Subdomains

That's what I'm calling it.  I would like to give my friends subdomains of my website.  The format I want to do something in is basically a 2x4 table.

I have no idea where to start with giving them access and the ability to edit their own page.  I want to limit their editing abilities to inside the table, then limit the amount/ type of information they can post in each cell.

I've just been using Frontpage, which probably means I don't have the skills or resources to do something like this.  And I know it makes me sound like a bad friend - "you can have a page, but you can only post like six words on it" - but it's a certain format I want to stick with.

If you don't have direct help for this, maybe someone would know of a supreme help resource with all the answers to everything ever.

Thanks, but also sorry for a bad question.

There are hosting companies that offer reseller accounts. With one of these you can create accounts and grant access to each of your associates. From there it's only a matter of customizing the system so they can only do what you want them to.

Shared hosting (that is, what you get from reseller accounts) doesn't generally allow for that kind of customisation, unless you want to write all of it yourself in PHP or some type of ASP language.
Since >>1 is a Frontpage user, he's below even script kiddies, so that's incredibly beyond his abilities.

tl;dr: OP needs to die in a fire.

Don't change these.
