Hard to build a computer?

Would any average joe with a hint of computer knowledge be able to build one alone with only t3h intarnet to help?

I just built one on Thursday.  This one, actually.  It was easy as shit.  It took about three hours to put together.  My only problem in the setup was because I didn't let the XP installer do its thing - I thought it wasn't working, but it just needed some more time.

Nothing on the internet helped me because I didn't need it.  You already want to build one, so I assume you know a little bit.  It's basically a matter of buying compatible parts and putting the right plugs in the right places.  It helps if you can use a screwdriver.

Step 1: Buy parts (newegg.com is usually cheapest)
Step 2: Stick parts together
Step 3: Put in OS disc, let it work
Step 4: ????
Step 5: Profit
