.exe -> .jpg

So I have a simple keylogger that I'm trying to get onto a friend's computer, however they're all smart enough to not open any exes from me. I'm pretty sure there's a way to embed an exe inside of a jpeg where when you open the picture, you execute the program.

Shit, submitted too early. Trying to find a way to do what I described, google isn't really helping.

What you're describing has been fixed for ages now.

There was a program on TDC once. But as soon as the saw the image quality they would know.

Press F2.

Change the name of the file from "needledick" to "needledick.jpg".

It'll actually be more like "needledick.jpg.exe", but you're a pee-pee toucher.

Couldn't you spoof the e-mail so it looks like it's from a trusted source, and send an installer for some crappy freeware program that will also install (but not uninstall) & run the keylogger as a background process?

Or just, you know, whip out a CD and put it on their computer when you're hanging out with them and they go to the bathroom or something.

Would you install shit emailed to you, even if it looked like it came from a "trusted source"? Even my grandmother is smart enough not to.

Speaking of CD, just make it autorun an installer when you drop it in.

Tell them it's... something.  The new Big Pun CD or some other shit that people would go bonkers for.

You're making the mistake of comparing your grandmother to the retarded gamer friends of this script kiddy. Your grandmother has to have wisdom. These guys probably don't.

Yeah.  Probably a good lay, too.

Anyway, you should be clever about it, not just send a blank e-mail.
For instance, if you know they are a fan of some obscure freeware program, use the service e-mail address associated with it and write a message like "Due to negligence/a hacker on steroids, a security loophole/virus was accidentally contained within the last release!  We're sending this security fix that will reinstall the program and fix the bug/remove the virus.  Thank you for your continued support."  Or something like that (be more subtle, obviously; say the website was hacked and they are in the process of setting up a new one or something).

Or send it from the email of another of their friends, and say it's a mod for some game they like, etc.  It's a good idea to have the executable do something IN ADDITION to setting up the keylogger, so they don't get as suspicious as quickly.

Unfortunately my target is far too smart to fall for something like that.

No one would leave me alone with their computer, last month I was having some fun with batch files, so all of my friends are on high alert.

I've decided just to use a SQL injection to get what I need instead of trying to keylog, should be easier to SQL inject invisionfree than to trick one of my friends.

You could stick a feather in your cap and call it Macaroni, although I'm honestly not sure how this will help your situation.

make a cd and make auto run files on it to make it open an exe when he puts it in his computer.

Don't change these.
