opening an .XEF file

wondering what i need to use to open a .xef file. the one i have has a zip file in it evidently and i wanna see what it is. thanks for help in advance.

WinAce .xef files use one of eight possible encryption algorithms. First, find out which yours uses, and then go from there.
If it's at all like .rar (which uses AES), brute-forcing is probably the only way to go about breaking it, though. Which means you're fucked.
