Windows 7
"Fuck Vista."

How cutting edge. The news is only half a year old.

>>"Maybe it's a new user interface paradigm for consumers."
Why the fuck do they have to fucking try to change things?

I thought companies would know by now that dumbing down the interface for idiots doesn't work, and it just puts off your competent customer base who doesn't want to have to make friends with the computer just to get it to print.

The people who this kind of shit is aimed at are the kind of people who REFUSE TO LEARN.  Not because computers are too complicated for them.  It doesn't matter how many smiley faces you stick in there, or how many helpful voices you add to give people schizophrenia, they're still going to call their tech guy in there to do it all for them...  the net result being that the tech, who knows how to get things done quickly in a sane OS, has to deal with a shitty playskool interface that the end user refuses to.  Besides, the few functional retards, who at least tried to learn compruters are totally lost in a new OS.

I DO NOT want to have to fucking spend a year getting my Vista installation to work just the way I want it.   That's why I downgraded from XP to FLP.

Have any of you tried to use the Office version for Vista?  Fucking shittiest interface I ever did see.

"We're going to look at a fundamental piece of enabling technology."

Companies like Microsoft describe DRM as an "enabling technology". Time will tell, but I'm glad I don't use Microsoft shit anymore!

I think that on install, they should let you choose
--> Dumb fuck mode
--> Normal mode

Not always make it dumb fuck mode.

It's all your fault for choosing to accept the subjugation to proprietary software heros.
