cup losing speed?

Name: Anonymous 2007-11-21 12:02

hay comp.

I have a turion 64 @ 1.6 ghz, and it should be a "relatively" fast computer.

Say, for example, that I start PoP Warrior Within. everything goes fine until starts slowing down. Finally I can't play anyomre, and I check the CUP speed and it has dropped to 650-700MHZ!

I mean, wtf? Is not the temperature of the laptop, and it seems to happen only in certain games (not in portal or hl2ep2, but in sands of time and fable).

thanks.

If using Linux: Disable dynamic frequency adjustment.

If using Windows: WELL TOO FUCKING BAD.
