file access

I need a way to access my computers files from another location. I don't want to post my files on some companies server where i must pay to access my files or be limited to a few GB of space. I want to access all my files on my computer from another computer over the internet, while also being very secure from unauthorized  accessors. Any ideas on how i can do this for free?

Aside from "install Linux" and all the other answers (Terrible trolls, all), just ssh in with PuTTy.

Or you could actually get hosting from a decent linux server instead of being such a goddamn idiot
