torrent problem

Name: Anonymous 2007-11-14 11:24

I have a random networking problem with torrents and was hoping someone may be able to help. basically when i run torrent for longer than a few minutes, all of a sudden i have trouble loading websites (they time out when loading). some load, but most done (animesuki will, but google won't load for example).

my ports are open for upnp and i'm having no trouble seeding, it's just websites. it starts working again about 30 mins or so after closing utorrent. anyone know what could be causing this?

Switch off UPnP at once. And configure port forwarding manually. If you don't know why you should, do research.

Limit your upload to about 70-80% of your upload bandwidth. And set the max connections to something sane. If you do all that correctly, it should help.

I seem to be having the same problem with upnp off as with on. I've also been limiting the bandwidth as well as connections in that way the entire time. Anything else I might try?
