GETING THE SIMPLEST LAN TO FUNCTION

Lappy and desky aren't talking to each other.  No file transfer, no internet connection, nothing.

How do I fix it?  What other info do you need? In before delete sys32/give me your ip/etc.

1. Did it work before? Because then the problem lies in what you fucked up

2. If it didn't then you probably have the wrong cable. You need a crossover cable if you want to hook up just two computers. If you can't find a crossover cable then follow >>3 's advice.
