Yeah so for some reason about a week ago or so almost all my services stopped running. I only have three instances of svchost.exe running at any one time when I know that theres supposed to be more. Because of this I cannot use system restore. Some other things that don't work now are the audio, the task bar, copy and paste, and several others (Although I got the task bar to show up finally yesterday by telling it to show quick launch icons.) Any help would be appreciated.

start -> run -? type 'services.msc' -> enable all services on startup, start all services.
I don't see an "enable all services on startup" button. Also I cant enable them one by one. I get an error. Also I don't want all the services started anyways.

I see, your problem is clear now. Your Windows is screwed, reinstall.

Three things you can try.
1. Try to take the system back to a System Restore Point prior to the current situation. The Registry may have gotten corrupted, in which case Restoring it to a point before the corruption *might* fix the issue.
2. Grab a copy of "Free Windows Registry Repair" and see if it can fix the orphaned, damaged, corrupted Registry entries. It may work, but chances are, if the Registry is corrupted, you're out of luck.
3. Visit blackviper.com & check the "Services you can safely turn off" list.
While logged in as Admin, make sure you've got all the critical services turned on, set to Auto/Manual as needed, & reboot.
Log in as normal, & see if that fixes the issue.
If not, then your Windows is effectively hosed beyond repair & I suggest archiving all your personal data (email, passwords, bookmarks, music/movies/pictures, etc) off to an external drive (or burn it to CD/DVD), then wiping the drive & starting with a fresh copy of Windows.
The reason Services "suddenly stop working" is either something has corrupted the Registry, or you've managed to delete various critical files that Windows needs to work properly.
The only way to fix them is to either rebuild the Registry (NOT an easy job), restore the files (by reinstalling or OVER installing them), or completely reinstall the OS from scratch.
Unfortunately, that last option is usually the one that works best, since what-ever corrupted the system in the first place can't be completely removed withOUT wiping the system.
For future use, save ALL your personal data to an external drive, so no matter what happens to the OS drive, your personal stuff is elsewhere.
If you have to wipe the OS (or it gets wiped by a virus), your personal stuff is still (relatively) safe on the external drive for later use.
Hope that helps. =)

Well I can't use system restore or I would have already. Also as to moving things to another drive I can't drag and drop anything. How do you suggest I move my movies, images, etc to any other drive?

This is why people shouldn't be allowed to use computers without knowing shit.

Would you allow that person to drive a car?
Go eat a dong if you're going to be a stupid faggot.

Take out your Hard Disk Drive from your computer, set it to secondary slave so it will become only yet another disk drive that won't be used to boot when you open a computer.
Put it into a computer that works, it SHOULD show up as the next letter drive in that computer, back up data, from there you can format the disk drive or reinstall etc.
If you have the windows CD, can't you use it to 'repair' from boot up?
