Ubuntu Live CD

Is there a more recent version of Ubuntu available on a LiveCD besides 5.10? Or, is there a better build of Linux that I can try on a LiveCD that isn't knoppix and isn't terrible?

Download the .iso for a newer version (7.04, 7.09 sucks)
