AMD or Intel?

Well, I'm getting a new computer soon and I have a choice, cheaper with an AMD athalon processor or a more expensive Intel core 2 processor.

Which would you pick?

too bad core 2 duo chips destroy AMD ones now
more cache and everything

enjoy your 1mb of cache chips
whilst i enjoy my 4mb and high clock speeds for almost the same price and cooler temperatures too
