AMD or Intel?

Well, I'm getting a new computer soon and I have a choice, cheaper with an AMD athalon processor or a more expensive Intel core 2 processor.

Which would you pick?

I would choose AMD.
1. because it's cheaper and I hate spending money.
2. AMD isn't a lot worse than Intel.
