A couple of days ago my computer all of a sudden has this weird problem. Whenever I start typing, the letters pop up slowly before stopping and then jump forward to catch up with my fingers. And when I type to fast the screen freezes for a good second or two.
How can I fix this?

Probably faster to reinstall Windows instead of looking for the source of the problem for days.

It's an inconvenience, but not one big enough to go as far as re-install my OS. I'd rather do the look for days thing first.

Try a different keyboard. My roommate's mouse was causing his computer to momentarily freeze and beep every minute or so.

To be honest I think it sounds like your sound card and most likely your CPU are causing problems, because your sound card is what processes most of your data and keystrokes and adds sound before they get saved to the cpu. Also keep in mind that your hard disk RAM is probably full so the computer will be saving stuff in your video card RAM, so it might be a good idea to unplug your monitor from the sound card and apply a small amount of lubricating oil (sexual lubricants make an acceptable substitute for oil) on the plug connection. This helps the data transfer go smoothly between the computer and the screen so it shouldn't lag as much. My last suggestion would be to do a RAM boot up... this is when you unplug the hard disk and RAM it into the cpu fan plug, and this should help cool the hard disk so it doesn't get too hot and tired, and hopefully it will have more energy when you type.
It must be the keyboard then, ever since my computer desk broke (the sliding plank where my keyboard rests on), I've been dropping my keyboard often, by accident of course.
