Hi, right now I have verizon DSL 400 kb (only get 180/s, but heh)
Was just wondering how Cable is compared to DSL, it says I would be getting 3 megs/s
Anyone have this? I know it says it's better, but I hear alot of people complaining about Cable Internet, what do you say guys?

I would suggest you ask someone from the cable company, to see if they can give you an estimate on what the average speed would be first (I don't know if that's even possible, but it doesn't hurt to try). I was always under the impression that cable was faster than DSL, but my current DSL connection is faster than when I used to have cable.

I would suggest doing your own research. There are sites that deal with this shit you know.

I have the Charter 3meg package. I usually average 360KB/s on downloads so its not too shabby.

Simple, cable gives you faster speeds than dsl but you run the risk of getting throttled, sued, cut off or otherwise inconvenienced. DSL on the other hand is usually topped out at the 6mb/s range priced around $60 in LA, and there's little to no hassle from ATT in regards to it...
So yeah... DSL cause I don't care for cabletv....
