Desktop is dead

geis my desktop died. i honestly dont know what the fuck happened, it was on, then i slept for 4 hours and i find it off.  i try to turn it on but there is zero current flowing through it...nothing happens!  i tried changing the position of the powercord and even switched powercords but nothing is happeing...im also pretty disoriented from JUST waking up so i cant think straight...any tips?

I have a morning ritual that I need to share. I call it 'the terminator'. First I crouch down in the shower in the classic 'naked terminator traveling through time' pose. With my eyes closed I crouch there for a minute, visualizing either Arnold or the guy from the second movie (not the chick in the third one because that one sucked) and I start to hum the terminator theme. Then I slowly rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me to proceed through my day as an emotionless, cyborg badass. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It ruins the fantasy.

- Is there power at the outlet? Test it: plug something else in there.

- If there's power and you were not using a surge protector then maybe you power supply died. Have a spare one or and old machine maybe even the machine you're posting from. Try the old power supply in your machine. If that works buy a new PS.

- If that doesn't work the power circuitry on your motherboard is toast. You're fucked, buy a new mobo.

alright thanks anon.  any suggestions for a new mobo? i always stick with the cheap ones but what would be a badass one for gaming?
