Video card choices

Am I better of with:

I'm building a new computer and I really don't know which route to go with video cards. I'm look to spend between 3 and 4 hundred in the video card area.

Most definitely the 8800, hands down. because if you have the capability to have two cards, then you can upgrade to having two 88's in the future.

The 8600 is a shitty gaming card... and it will be much more future proof if you get an 8800
