Card error in Olympus Cam

How can i make my XD card work with my olympus cam again?
I cant format because XP only does fat 16 and 32
It needs fat 12.

an XD card card was removed forcefully from my cam.
It got corrupted So i formatted it.
YEt aftwards it didnt work with the cam anymore. Does with XP.
So after some googleing i found it it needed to be formatted as 12bit fat (Fat12) yes i didnt know it existed either.
But here we are. with out installing 98 or less.

How does one fix a fubar XD card.

there is such a thing as fat12, it is used to format floppies.

open a cmd.exe and type format /c and that should tell you how.  xD sucks.
