Well im looking for a computer for all of my downloading needs, but don't want to spend too much.
Any ideas for what to buy?

Why not use some old computer you got? Anyway, make sure that it's really silent and has no unnecessary and power-gupling parts like a sound card. Also make sure that it won't be a dust-trap.

You could make a torrent box dirt cheap. You wouldn't need more than minimum requirements for XP. Most people would be willing to give away PCs that shitty. Just buy a new hard drive and away you go.

What is your price range/limit? You're basically in need of a minimal use computer with at least a 60gb hard drive because your mom doesn't want you to download anymore? Is she worried about you messing it up, or just using up all the space on the disk? Buying a second HD is out of the question?
