Alright so basically i cant right click with my mouse... as in when i right click on a folder it will highlight the folder but it wont bring down the menu, i cant right click on files also.. but for some strange reason i can right click on pictures when i open them, web pages and almost everything else except my desktop and folder/files..

I did the trouble shooter and it didn't work, i tried unplugging the mouse and putting it back that didn't work either, so this is my last resort... any help will be great thanks

make sure a key isn't stuck, or if the keyboard is PS/2, make sure the plug is all the way in. Failing that, try a different keyboard or restart. Failing that, do a repair install of Windows.

It's a software problem, reinstall OS.

try that mouse on a different computer. If the same thing happens, get a new mouse.  It sounds like it's probably an issue with the computer though, since it works in some situations.  If you're too lazy to reinstall or reformat, just use the menu bar. File, properties. Etc.

obviously a hardware issue you should take out your hdd and throw it in to a fire that should fix any problems you have

Don't change these.
