Program finding

hey /comp/, i remember that there was some program that allows during windows that already is working and booted to boot again in that program w/o restarting the windows itself.
anyone knows what program it is? some guy used it in some fixing boot sector tutorial, and he screenshoted the steps of doing it with that program during his windows working

But maybe you're talking about VMWare which can make a "snapshot" of a running Windows system and convert it into a virtual machine while it is running. Google vmware and read up.
