Video in .THM format: HELP!

Yesterday a friend sent me a video that's a .thm file but I have no idea how to open it, and google hasn't been a big help either. What do I do?

the thm files are for digital cameras that contain exif information. they aren't videos, it's just a thumbnail for the video (it should be a jpeg); if you change the extension to .jpg it should open in your image viewer/editor. your friend sent you the wrong file.
