Vista Activation

Name: Anonymous 2007-07-04 5:46 ID:ghJQgaA4

So I installed a 64-bit OEM version of Windows Vista, problem is: when I updated the activation timer (30 days) appeared.

so I tried the usuall activation cracks, the OEM Emulator etc, but I have a BIOS that doesnt support SLA 2.0.

When I try to emulate it, 1 just wont boot when I install the driver, the other 2 dont work ;/

halp?

"So I installed a 64-bit"

It is the best 64-bit windows, sadly, and many *nix's do not yet support it fully.  Fedora, Suse, Slamd, FreeBSD, and NetBSD all froze during the install or first restart for me on AMD64.

Support what? 64 bit processors? What the fuck do you think I am using at home, at work, and at my fucking bath tub? Various Linux distributions, all 64 bits, without a single problem. You failed it hard.

And best 64 bit Windows? There is no such thing. Windows is a 32 bit OS, and there are some hacks to allow 64 bit applications, but there's little to gain from it, and in Vista's case, anything you could gain from it (which is less than you think) is nothing compared to the wasted CPU time and memory, so you fail miserably. So if you failed to install Linux, get Windows 2000 or Windows XP (32 bit), STFU, and GTFO.

Don't tell us that Nix doesn't support 64 bit cpus. Linux has supported 64 bit CPUs and software since 2000. The first version of Windows with 64 bit support was released in 2005.

Be nice if manufacturers supplied more 64bit drivers in either case...

linux doesn't even have a gui and you're trying to tell me the actually put the time in it to run it on a 64-bit cpu? lol

If the binary distros won't work, go get the "From Source" ones.

Heh. Looks like you're the latest customer of microsoft's fuck-you program. Don't crack vista. They don't want to expand their customer base for free anymore.

Use linux.

Don't change these.
