Windows XP MCE 2005

I'm trying to install Windows XP. The only disc I have for it is a Home SP2 disc and the key I have is for MCE 2005.

During the installation, it doesn't check the key on the internet, right? So, does anyone have a key I can use, even if I can't activate it? I just need a key that will work for the installation.

any business that has XP? You do realize that they could be using that key and it could already be activated, right?

It's not like they are putting their VL key on the machine.
