Multimedia organization

So, like a lot of people on 4chan, I have a lot of photos. What software do you guys recommend to organize it all?

I'm looking for a tagging-style system that allows a pic to have multiple tags attached, like in Flckr/Danbooru, but on the desktop?

It would be nice also if it supported other media like video, music, etc...
