Video Cards

I'm probably not going to get an answer that is anywhere near helpful from here (judging from the responses I already see plus the fact this is 4chan), but...

I'm looking to update my graphics card from the POS 6800GT I have now to something that can run shit in Vista (Yes, I know... blah blah blah) without looking like a slideshow.

I have a AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+, 2GB ram, and a DFI LanParty nF4 SLI. I for some reason must have gotten the shitty version of this board since it does not have the SLI bridge you'd normally use to link two SLI cards.

In any event, I was considering a XFX 8600GT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150230)

Anyone have any useful suggestions?

A slide show with a 6800? Unless you only play Crysis with everything maxed out, it is probably not just your graphics card's lack of power.
