Firefox - image download problems

My Firefox fucked up somehow, and now I can't save any images anymore. I can right-click them and select save image, bu it does nothing... even when I open the picture as a separate page and select Save Page it doesn't work.

Also, when I download other things, it does work, but the download window doesn't open.

Anyone know what might be causing this?

reinstall firefox. i thought you meant the page save as image plugin, my mistake (slaps head with retard trout)

if nothing then uninstall via safe mode and reinstall after reboot.

I uninstalled and re-installed it, but it doesn't seem to be working. I dunno why but it seems I never uninstalled it at all since settings, bookmarks, passwords, and even the recent history is still te same from before I reinstalled.

Does it store those things separately or something?
